About Us

At Solar Partnerships, we provide the information, guidance, and expertise you need to confidently make informed decisions about solar energy.

We accompany you through every step of the journey — from initial consultation and design, through installation, and into long-term support and aftercare — giving you complete peace of mind.

Our Team

Corin Hughes and Dai Rees have over 33 years’ combined experience of working in partnership with landowners and communities to help them realise the benefits of renewable energy.

Corin has installed 6 hydropower systems to date and is now working with YnNi Newydd to develop Bretton Hall Solar Farm, which at 30 Megawatts is currently the largest planned community-owned solar PV system in the UK.

Corin designs and plans our larger solar and battery systems, before handing them over to Dai who manages the installation.

Corin Hughes

Dai was previously managing director of Greenearth Energy, which installed many small and medium sized solar PV systems on roofs and in fields.

Dai manages the installation of all our solar PV and battery projects and also designs and plans our smaller systems.

What our customers say

What a great team.

My partner and I are extremely happy with the service and professionalism we received from Corin and Dai at Rees Hughes Solar Partnerships. In fact, every member of their wider team conducted themselves with knowledgeable enthusiasm — it was clear they all genuinely love the work they do.

At no point did anybody try to upsell unnecessary extras or rush through the job to get to the next one. Instead, it was clear, crisp, engineering-led technical design that took into account what we wanted - ours was not a straightforward project due to the wider works programme, but they took everything in their stride. Great work, delivered by passionate, knowledgeable people.

If you want a company that focuses on high-quality installations tailored to your home’s needs, rather than marketing nonsense coupled with the “pile it high, sell it cheap” mentality seen in much of the solar industry, then this company is for you.

— Dan, Gloucestershire

Attention to detail was evident

RHSP Ltd. have installed several solar systems via Egni Coop for Pembrokeshire County Council, exceeding 500kW in capacity.  Working in schools and leisure centres requires a contractor that puts safety first, is dependable and trustworthy, understands the products and the need to stick to deadlines.  RHSP delivered on all these at all sites.

Always courteous and polite, it was reassuring that competent personnel were working on the roofs. Attention to detail was evident and it was clear that they care about the quality of their work and that the expectations of the client are met.

I’ve found working with all the staff easy, I know they will do the right thing and the results to date have been exemplar.

Installing with Rees Hughes Solar Partnerships has been straightforward and stress-free. I can trust them to do the right thing every time, and the outcomes have been nothing short of exemplary.
